How long is the shelf life of Jojoba Oil?
When stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight, Jojoba Oil has a shelf life of over three years from the date of purchase.

How do you pronounce Jojoba?
It’s pronounced hoh-HOH-buh.

How do I use Jojoba Oil as a carrier oil for essential oils?
Mix your essential oil with Jojoba Oil in a dark glass bottle, then apply as needed. Always store oils in cool, dry places away from sunlight.

How do I apply Beard Oil?
Start with a dime-sized amount in your palm, rub it into your fingertips, then massage into the skin beneath your beard. Pull your fingers downward to work the oil through your beard. If there’s any excess, blot with a towel and use slightly less next time. Store away from sunlight and heat.

What does Beard Oil do?
It helps soften beard hair, makes your beard more manageable, and soothes dry, itchy skin underneath — aka, “beardruff.”

How should I use Beard Oil vs. Beard Balm?
Use Beard Oil daily to moisturize and condition your beard and the skin beneath. Follow with Beard Balm to tame unruly hairs and shape your beard for a polished look.

Do your fragrance-free beard products have a scent?
They don’t contain any added fragrance or essential oils, but natural oils may have a mild, earthy scent that can vary by person.

Tips for coarse beards?
Limit washing with soap to a few times a week, but moisturize daily. Use a boar bristle brush to evenly distribute oil and lay hairs down smoothly. Regular trims also help manage texture.

Does Rosehip Oil smell like roses?
Nope! It’s made from the seeds of a wild rose bush from Chile. It has a natural, earthy scent that’s nothing like a bouquet.

What is the comedogenic rating of your oils?

  • Jojoba Oil: ~2 (filtered to mimic natural skin oils, often closer to 0–1)

  • Argan Oil: 0

  • Pomegranate, Emu, Rosehip & Castor Oil: 1

  • Tamanu Oil: 2

Are your oils non-GMO?

Are your oils organic?
All of our oils have met the specifications for what constitutes as an 100% organic oil. Due to the lengthy and expensive process to certify every single part of our supply chain for each oil, we have not yet submitted for the USDA-branded stamp.

Do your oils contain parabens?
No way — none of our oils contain parabens.

Are your oils cold-pressed?
Yes! All of our pure oils are cold-pressed to preserve their natural benefits with the exception of our Emu Oil.

💧 Skincare Tips

When should I apply toner in my routine?
Toner should be applied before oils like Jojoba, Argan, or Rosehip Oil.

How should I start using facial oils?
Start with a patch test. If your skin reacts well, add a few drops to your routine, or mix into your moisturizer. Always follow usage instructions on the bottle.

📦 Packaging & Storage

Where should I store my oils?
Keep oils in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Our amber bottles help protect against UV rays, but it’s best to avoid temperature swings. Always keep oils away from flames, heat sources, and out of reach of children.
